Abstract

This research aims at putting forward relevant strategies and suggestions for those small and medium-sized travel companies during the difficult time. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on China's economy, especially the tourism economy. Small and medium-sized travel companies, as an important force to promote the development of China's tourism economy, suffered a very fatal blow in the COVID-19. More than 10,000 tourism companies closed down between March and May 2020 alone. A systematic review was conducted to analyze the results of research at the national level. 14 journal articles specializing in discussing the measures for travel companies in China to cope with the COVID-19 crisis were analyzed. This study has classified those measures into four different categories, including human resources, marketing, maintenance and government support.
