Abstract
A wastewater treatment and reclamation system has been constructed and studied to determine whether the product water could be recycled safely in processing poultry. No evidence of health risks or excessive exposures to specific constituents in the renovated water were found. It is concluded that a trial period of reuse, with particular attention to organic chemical quality, would not pose an undue risk.
