Abstract
College of Business disciplines tend to be closely associated. Because of this, it is necessary to understand the importance of the journal outlets available for disseminating the findings of business research. This study examines existing journals in the business disciplines to identify which are most prestigious and most recognized across the disciplines. Ten journals were found to be high quality journals when rated across three or more business disciplines: Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, California Management Review, Decision Sciences, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Business, Journal of Business Research, Management Science, andSloan Management Review.
