Abstract

Based on the characters of spines of genicular lobes, male stridulatory area, male abdominal apex, and lateral surface of female ovipositor, we reinterpreted the Oriental genus Parapsyra and provide a list and a key to the occuring in the world. The male of the type species, P. notabilis is described for the first time. Three new species, P. midcarina, sp. nov., P. nigrocornis, sp. nov., and P. fuscomarginalis, sp. nov. are described from southwestern China.
