Abstract

The Child Development Associate Project is of sufficient magnitude and importance to warrant and benefit from a fair and open public examination. However, Berk and Berson's analysis is in need of factual correction and represents a biased view of the program. This paper seeks to set straight the facts while indicating the areas where additional research and discussion are warranted.
