Abstract

This review summarizes data on the synthesis of important aromatic core [1,2,4]triazolopyridines. The presented methods are classified according to the types of reagents used. Therefore, the variety of reagents used in the classification of different synthesis methods of triazolopyridines is effective. [1,2,4]Triazolopyridines are an important class of heterocyclic compounds that have a wide range of pharmaceutical and biological activities including herbicidal, antifungal, anticonvulsant, and anxiolytic activities. Although several methods for the synthesis of [1,2,4]triazolopyridines have been reported in the literature, many of them require rigid reaction conditions or are multistep in nature, and there is still a need for further novel research methods in the future.
