Abstract

The article assesses the state of research methods used in studies of online and blended learning in the business disciplines with the goal of recommending adjustments to research approaches and to identify opportunities for meaningful future research. A search for peer-reviewed articles about online learning in business courses that were published after January 1, 2000 was conducted, which included the databases ABI/Inform, Business Full Text, Business Source Elite and Lexis/Nexis Business. An in-depth research on the online learning sector with studies testing for the effect of online learning approaches and student attitudes on learning success was discovered.
