Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the studies examining attitudes to reading conducted in Turkey. Within the scope of the research, a total of 51 articles reached, which were searched from Google Scholar, DergiPark, EBSCO, Scopus, Web of Science databases. The studies included were conducted between 2007 and 2020 on reading attitudes. The articles were analyzed by publication date, the grade level in which the studies were carried out, gender, research method and data collection tools. A systematic literature review was conducted to identify the studies. Findings indicated that the highest number of articles were published in 2016. The studies conducted at the elementary education level are more than the secondary education level. Although the participation of boys and girls is close to each other, boys were slightly more than half of the total participants. Attitude scales were the most used data collection tool.
