Abstract

With the development of urbanisation in China, regional distributed energy plays a vital role in modern urban power systems, which can reduce emissions, reduce power consumption, and increase the safety and reliability of power grids. This paper focuses on three main aspects of regional distributed energy system planning and design: load forecasting, system optimisation and system evaluation. It summarises the types and research methods of each aspect and proposes the future development direction. Finally, the research framework of system planning and design is proposed.
