Abstract

In the case of compound braking, the dynamic coordination control strategy of electric vehicle ABS will directly affect the braking safety and the braking energy recovery. Based on the analysis of the compound braking control strategy of electric vehicle ABS, this review divides it into two categories: the single braking system control of ABS and the compound braking system control of ABS. The control strategy of ABS compound braking system is analyzed, according to the way of hydraulic control and motor control, it is divided into four categories: motor constant hydraulic coordination, hydraulic constant motor coordination, motor maximum hydraulic coordination, and motor hydraulic mutual coordination. The advantages and disadvantages of different control strategies are compared from the aspects of system response speed, stability, energy recovery rate, and complexity of system implementation. Considering the performance comprehensively, the analysis shows that the control strategy of motor hydraulic mutual coordination can give full play to the advantages of the two control systems, which is a better research direction.
