Abstract

Abstract This review of research studies and curricula on HIV prevention strategies for adolescents demonstrates the diverse kinds of material and approaches that are needed to address the many different characteristics of young people who are at risk for HIV infection. While generic approaches may be somewhat useful, prevention strategies that are specific for different population groups are likely to be most effective.
