Abstract

The article is devoted to the compilation of the reverse associative onymic dictionary. The purpose of the article is the multi-vector analysis of free associative reactions. The object of the study is the proper names present in the Spanish onymic landscape. The subject of the study is the properties of the associative image of the memetic proper names of the Spanish onymic landscape. The methodology of our study involves the compilation of onymic associates obtained by the free associative experiment with native Spanish speakers. In the course of the work, the task was to compose the reverse associative onymic dictionary to cover the memetic nature of proper names. The findings of our study state that the reverse associative onymic dictionary reveals the cultural background of proper names that actualize memetic cultural units. Individualization and identification along the lines of social channels realize an onymic identity as a collective associative reflection that reveals ethnically driven tendencies.
