Abstract
A novel resveratrol dimer, named anigopreissin A, was isolated from root cultures of Anigozanthos preissii and from rhizomes of Musa cavendish plants. The structure was established by spectrometric methods including assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data as a completely unsaturated benzofuran derivative.
