Abstract
The paramagnetic resonance of Fe in hydrogenated and unhydrogenated Pd has been observed. A suitable explanation for the g-factor is found if one assumes the ionic ground state to be 3+ rather than 2+. Measurements of the demagnetization fields in the paramagnetic regime suggest that giant moments are present in the demagnetization field.
