Abstract

The hydraulic dithering is the general problem for large tonnage crane. The AMESim software was used to set up the model of the hydraulic hoisting system in this paper, and simulation analysis was also done for the research. At the same time many researches have been made by changing the diameter of resistance hole of balance valve, pressure of motor shut valve, hydraulic cubage. The analysis result indicated that the pressure dithering performance of the hoisting system relates to flow release of the pressure cut off valve of variable displacement motor, dynamic characteristic of the counter balance valve and hydraulic cubage cavity. Experimental results show that the simulation analyses truly reflect the actual working conditions and make the optimization plans and improvements are reasonable and efficient, thus basically eliminating the phenomenon of the crane's hydraulic dithering.
