Abstract
The use of a resilient denture lining material and the rationale for the selection of the particular material used has been described. A resilient lining material provides primary retention for prostheses that may be difficult or impossible to obtain by other means. The improved compatibility of delicate tissues with a resilient material as compared to a rigid material has also been discussed.
