Abstract

Aiming at the problem of static bandwidth allocation (SBA) algorithm and most dynamic allocation algorithm (DBA) can't support QoS, and the low utilization ratio of system bandwidth, in this paper, we study a residual bandwidth iteration dynamic allocation (RBI-DBA) algorithm for multilink access network system bandwidth allocation, in RBI-DBA, the residual bandwidth can be iteration allocated many times, until all of RTUs bandwidth request can be fulfilled or no longer have the residual bandwidth. Simulation experiments demonstrate that RBI-DBA increase bandwidth utilization ratio and reduce packets delay.
