Abstract

The simulation of the waves in the marine environment provides a simulation platform for the movement of the structures in the waves, which is the basis for the study of the motion performance and safety performance of the marine structures. Knowing the ropes of the simulation methods and processes of the waves has great significance to the study of marine structures. In this paper, a detailed description of the wave simulation method is presented by comparing the different ocean simulation mathematical models and modeling methods. The wave simulation method based on the spectrum method is described, and the wave surface height diagram based on three typical wave spectra is obtained, and the error is analyzed of the significant wave height.
