Abstract

Vehicle Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is an on-board self-organizing network. The communication modes of VANET mainly include V2V and V2R. Due to the unique characteristics of VANET, such as high mobility and intermittent connections, resource transmission is unstable and delay is large. However, because of its limited conditions, the node is selfish in forwarding messages. In order to motivate nodes to cooperate with each other, three types of incentive mechanisms have been proposed to which provide forwarding data services. For recent years.research work is summarize for VANET incentive mechanisms, firstly I will summarize the VANET and VANET incentive mechanisms; Then, I will introduce three major types of incentives and several types of core research issues; finally, I will compare existing work and summarize research challenges.
