Abstract

Requirements analysis and modeling play a key role in the success of service-based information system development. Since traditional requirements modeling approaches are insufficient in supporting services computing and its realization mechanism, they are hard to meet the needs of requirements modeling of service-based systems. Meanwhile, requirements analysts usually lack of relevant domain knowledge in requirements analysis of service-based systems, which also leads to the difficulty of requirements modeling and analysis. To this end, we propose a requirements refinement approach for service-based systems. Faced with the initial business scenario descriptions of service-based information systems, the proposed approach can help requirements analysts conduct service requirements modeling by discovering the service goals knowledge contained in the related services. Finally., a case study is presented to show how the proposed approach can be applied in practical application scenarios.
