Abstract

It it shown that geometric morphisms between elementary toposes can be represented as certain adjunctions between the corresponding categories of locales. These adjunctions are characterized by (i) they preserve the order enrichment and the Sierpinski locale, and (ii) they satisfy Frobenius reciprocity.
