Abstract

Data from the semantic differential are often analyzed with a repeated-measures analysis of variance. The problem of an appropriate distance function is addressed and a permutation multivariate repeated-measures analysis of variance is introduced which preserves the Euclidean data space mandated by the semantic differential.
