Abstract
Bei der Beschreibung von Idiomysis inermis durch Tattersall (1922) lag nur ein einziges Mannchen vor. Schwarme von Mannchen und Weibchen sind in Moreton Bay, Queensland, in Vergesellschaftung mit der Seeanemone Stoichactis haddoni (Saville-Kent) gefunden worden. Mit Hilfe dieses Materials ist es moglich, Tattersalls Beschreibung des Mannchens zu bestatigen und die Beschreibung des Weibchens nachzuliefern. Es wird ein Vergleich mit I. tsurnamali Bacescu, dem alleinigen anderen Vertreter der Gattung, durchgefuhrt.
