Abstract

This paper presents a new rectangular waveguide slot filtering linear array antenna, where the filtering function is realized by loading a row of T-type resonators at the bottom broad wall of the rectangular waveguide slot antenna. A four-slot rectangular waveguide slot filtering linear array antenna operating in 5.6-6.0 GHz and rejecting in 7.75-8.75 GHz is designed and simulated. The simulation results show that, compared with the traditional waveguide slot linear array antenna, the proposed antenna has almost the same radiation performance in operating band while achieves an additional 26 dB to 59.4 dB radiation suppression in stopband.
