Abstract

VESPA, the first open-source python package built to probabilistically validate exoplanet transit signals, has contributed to the validation of over a thousand exoplanets. However, since it is no longer maintained and has not been updated to account for the modern astronomy data landscape, we recommend retiring it in favor of the newer, actively maintained TRICERATOPS package.
