Abstract
The aim of this study is to assess and recap the Faculty Engagement Program of the 2019 Convening Leaders at the 2019 Professional Convention Management Association (Pittsburg, Pennsylvania). Furthermore, we present key highlights and best practices from Convening Leaders in the context of the five trends presented by The Future of Meetings and Events presented by Marriott International and PCMA in the areas of emotional intelligence, orchestrated serendipity, multimodal design, bigger than oneself, and clear sense of place.
