Abstract

This paper introduces a real-time deformation measurement system platform of historic building, which was based on 3DGIS, BIM and IoT, to ensure the construction safety and improve the management efficiency. Multiple types of high-precision sensor networks are set up on the physical end, data stream systems and databases are built, and various real-time data models like 3D laser scanning model, BIM model, 3DGIS model are established, which greatly contribute to the development of the system platform. Furthermore, the developed platform was applied to the integral jacking reconstruction project of the South Building of Huadong Hospital, which is one of the outstanding historic buildings and architectural heritage of Shanghai. The application effect indicated that a significant role was played by the platform with the realization of deformation measurement, risk assessment and warning, and construction management on the historic building. The platform can control and manage the construction site in a digital, real-time and remote way, which was greatly conducive to the historic building's renewal.
