He edits and contributes to FoMRHI[Fellowship of Makers and Researchers of Historical Instruments] Quarterly. His training as a physicist has led him to make judgement subservient to evidence whenever they conflict. His results are thus sometimes contrary to popular assumptions of the early music movement.
