Abstract

Abstract Models of creep rupture data for CF8C-Plus Austenitic steel are presented and compared to recently published models of the same data. Metrics for the accuracy of these models are compared and the reliability of extrapolations to times of practical interest is discussed. Significant differences are reported between previous predictions of long-term rupture strength and the results of re-evaluation.
