A RARE VARIANT OF SQUAMOUS ODONTOGENIC TUMOR WITH CORTICAL PERFORATION AND HIGH PROLIFERATION INDEX

Abstract

Squamous odontogenic tumor is a benign and rare tumor of the jaws, with only about 50 cases reported since 1975. The majority are slow growing, rarely symptomatic. Although expansion may be present, cortical perforation and involvement of soft tissue are rare.
