Abstract

Botulinum toxin drugs have an excellent safety profile. Adverse events are most often related to the local diffusion of the toxin and are usually mild and transient. However, there are cases where the clinical manifestations following the injection cannot so easily be explained. We describe a case of myasthenia gravis following periocular botulinum injection.
