Abstract

Ossification of the ligamentum flavum is a spinal disorder that most commonly occurs in middle aged men It is most commonly prevalent in Japan and other East Asian countries such as Korea and China and usually presents with myelopathy However its occurence in achondroplasia is extremely rare We present a rare case of spinal stenosis due to ossified ligamentum flavum in a year old Indian female of achondroplasia presenting as dorsal myelopathy
