Abstract

Dentigerous cysts are the second-most common odontogenic cysts which are of developmental pathology. These cysts have a very rare occurrence during the first decade of life with a predilection for males compared to females. We report the earliest occurrence to date of a large dentigerous cyst of maxillary origin in a 1-day-old male baby. We were able to successfully manage the baby with a conservative surgical approach.
