Abstract
In an otherwise healthy third-trimester male neonate, routine prenatal ultrasound (US) detected a small cystic lesion in the right upper quadrant. After a normal full-term delivery, US redemonstrated a cystic lesion in the right upper quadrant at less than 2 cm in size. At 2 months of age, the patient was admitted with increasing frequency of emesis, dehydration, and slowing weight gain. Physical exam demonstrated a depressed fontanelle but was otherwise unremarkable. Abdominal US performed an increase in size of the cystic lesion to 3.9 cm at the level of the lesser curvature (Fig 1).
