Abstract
Abstract A rapid method to qualitatively determine mixture of NaF and monofluoro acetic acid (1080) in liquid baits is presented. It employs a strong anion ion exchange resin in the acetate form with elution with sodium sulfate. The detection is by a flucride-alizarin complexing chelate. The procedures take about twenty minutes and can detect ppm amounts of both materials.
