Abstract
The process for catalytic radioiodine labelling of m-iodobenzyglunidine is described. This labelling procedure will be used in the routine-production process. A radiochemical yield below 80% is obtained at 100°C within 15 min. Separating unbonded iodine −131I the radiochemical purity is more than 98‰. After labelling the solution is made isotonic and brought on a pH of 5.5–6.5. By sterile filtration an injectable solution is obtained.
