Abstract
Although superior to IFN monotherapy, the combination of IFN plus RVN remains suboptimal for treating chronic HCV. Recent studies have demonstrated that virologic response (VR) is greater in pts treated with HDDI-IFN, however this response is not sustained. Since RVN is effective in reducing relapse we have hypothesized that a combination of HDDI-IFN plus RVN might improve VR in pts with chronic HCV.
