Abstract

This article describes the design, construction, and performance of a six-port reflectometer which operates at 925 MHz and is designed for on-line cellular radio RF component measurement. The effects that reflectometer subcircuit performance have on overall six-port operation are discussed in terms of the six-port constants. Due to the conservative bandwidths required by the application, narrow-band quasilumped hybrid and power splitter circuits are employed throughout. The final design is suitable for ultimate implemenation in MMIC form.
