Abstract

A quasi-exact yield criterion for anisotropic porous ductile sheet metals is analytically developed under axisymmetric loading condition. The sheet metals are assumed perfectly rigid-plastic and incompressible. A representative unit cell containing a void is formulated to model the porous sheet metals. Hill's quadratic anisotropic yield function is adopted, and the obtained yield criterion is a function of R, the normal anisotropic factor.
