Abstract

This paper is the second part of a study of cement paste structure by image analysis. Solid concentration and granulometric measurement have been carried out on the original binary image, then on the same image whose morphology had been modified. These results revealed anhydrous cement grains dispersed in the fresh paste. The effect of concentration and the state of the solid phase can influence this dispersion and we suggest that our method can be used to investigate both these phenomena.
