Abstract
BACKGROUND: Stunting is a major nutritional problem facing Indonesia. Stunting has the highest prevalence compared to other nutritional problems such as malnutrition, underweight and obesity.
 MATERIAL AND METHODS: This study use a mix method approach. Qualitative research data analysis was carried out by triangulation.
 RESULT: The results showed that direct effect on stunting prevention was 45% motivation and the indirect effect was the stunting prevention policy of 42.61%.
 CONCLUSION: In this study it was concluded that the implementation of increasing public participation is expected to increase stunting prevention behavior in the public, especially in the Pandeglang Regency area.
