Abstract

Penicillin allergy de-labeling is a high impact intervention requiring a multidisciplinary team to improve antimicrobial stewarsdhip (AMS) and the judicious use of antibiotics. Using a qualitative approach, we studied the perception of antibiotic allergy review and the workflow of the inpatient pharmacy and AMS teams in a single site Veterans Hospital to identify workflow process gaps and opportunities for future interventions.
