Abstract

With an integrated mixer, the continuous-time (CT) lowpass /spl Sigma//spl Delta/ modulator is highly suitable for A/D conversion of IF signals. In this paper, a quadrature IF mixer with high image rejection is proposed for this application. By employing a channel sharing technique and a special clocking scheme, the proposed mixer is insensitive to resistor mismatches and LO phase errors, which are major error sources for image rejection. Simulation results verifying the concept are presented.
