A q-supercongruence from a q-analogue of Whipple's [formula omitted] summation formula

Abstract

In terms of a q-analogue of Whipple's F23 summation formula, the creative microscoping method recently introduced by Guo and Zudilin, and the Chinese remainder theorem for coprime polynomials, we establish a q-supercongruence modulo the fifth power of a cyclotomic polynomial. More concretely, we give a q-analogue of a result by Swisher and a q-analogue of a conjecture by Liu.
