Abstract

Because of the lack of sufficient psychiatric services for Turkish migrants in Germany they were offered a psychotherapy group using an interpreter This therapeutic setting, to begin with regarded as second-rate, soon turned out to be a very effective form of therapy. The basis for this successful development was laid during the first session.
