Abstract

Key agreement refers to two or more entities in negotiations, jointly establish a session key. The session key is generated by each participant through a certain number of parameters. However, in the process of session key establishment, users’ privacy information was leaked, especially for social network. Network privacy security means that the personal data and online data are not peep, intrusion, interference, and illegal collection and utilization. In this paper, we propose a provable authenticated key agreement protocol with privacy protection using smart cards based on chaotic maps in the random oracle model. The key idea of our protocol is to only use chaotic maps for mutual authentication instead of encrypting/decrypting messages transferred between user and server, which can make our protocol more efficient, and the users’ privacy information is protected. In addition, we not only give the provable security in the random oracle model, but also give the formal security such as perfect forward secrecy and known-key secrecy. Compared with related protocols, our proposed protocol is more secure, effective, and practical.
