Abstract

The paper examines the editorial policies and pattern of Scopus impact factor (CiteScore). The authors extract the information from the journals about instructions for authors and calculate the impact of CiteScore on editorial policies. The authors pilot bivariate analysis to compare the methodological policy issues of high impact and low impact journals. There is no involvement of human participants; therefore, the current research does not require an ethical review. Results were published in peer-reviewed journals and related conferences. A limitation of this study is language bias due to the selection of English-only articles.
