Abstract

Hydrogen gas is a non-polluting, abundant and useful fuel but highly flammable gas over 4% concentration in the air. In order to use the gas safely, the hydrogen safety sensor is required wherever using the hydrogen gas. Conventionally, Palladium (Pd) metal has long been used for the safety sensors because of its high hydrogen sensitivity1. In this study we demonstrated a hydrogen sensor using Pd nanowire array for the first time. Specially we focused on fabricating a proto-type hydrogen safety sensor and evaluating the Hydrogen sensing performance of the sensor
