Abstract
Little is known about the presence and treatment of peripheral nerve injuries associated with extremity upper and lower extremity trauma, though hand surgeons are commonly called upon to manage both. Our purpose was to establish a registry to address these knowledge gaps with a hypothesis that a large number of nerve injuries could be accumulated among multiple trauma centers and demonstrate the feasibility of multi-institutional studies of nerve injuries and their management.
