Abstract

A new application of metamaterial is proposed in the present work to measure the amount of glucose, urea and sodium chloride (GUS) in human blood where structure deals with one-dimensional polymer metamaterial at signal of 589 nm. Finite difference time domain method is manipulated with above said structure to fetch the variation of electric field propagation in metamaterial, which leads to an investigation of different parameter in human blood. Further the numerical upshot affirms that the intensity transmitted through metamaterial device varies linearly with the concentration of glucose, urea and sodium chloride with having R2 = 0.9963, 0.0.9903 and 0.9938 which is the basic principle of the current measurement of said bio-medical parameter. Moreover computational result inferred that the virtuous sensitivity affirms for accurate measurement of GUS using polymer metamaterial structure.
